CHECK OUT WHAT THE rIPPLEPHX TEAM IS UP TO AS WE DO IT!

REAL TIME REPORTING

Transparency is one of our core values – not as a buzzword, but as a practice. This page shares real-time data from the work RipplePHX does in the community each month. You’ll see how many people we’ve tested for HIV, how many were connected to PrEP or treatment, how case management shows up over time, and who we’re reaching across our programs.

The data includes both the highs and the lows. Some months we hit our stride. Other times, we fall short of where we want to be. We don’t hide that. Our team reviews this information weekly to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can adjust quickly to better serve our community. Keeping a close pulse on our work helps us course-correct in real time and stay aligned with our mission.

And while these charts show numbers, they represent people who trust us enough to take steps toward care, stability, and better health. Yes, we have fun at our events, and that’s intentional. Joy builds trust. Trust opens doors. The data below shows what happens after the fun: real engagement, real services, and real impact.

This is what transparency looks like to us. We’re committed to showing our work as it happens, so our community can see the difference they help make.

In-Person HIV Testing

Last Update: January 2026

This chart shows the number of people who received an In-Person HIV Test conducted by RipplePHX  (not At-Home HIV Tests). All In-Person tests are Rapid HIV tests at Outreach Events where the person being tested receives their result at the time of testing.

Some context for data blips:

  • In-Person HIV Testing plummeted during 2020 and the beginning of 2021 during the COVID Pandemic.
  • Spikes in Oct 2024, 2023, 2022 & 2021 reflect our Fall Carnival (our largest HIV Testing event of the year).
  • Spike in Oct 2025 reflect a special Wicked 2: For Good promotion we did to boost engagement in HIV Services.

At-Home HIV Testing

Last Update: January 2026

This chart shows people who received At-Home HIV Tests from RipplePHX for people to conduct their own HIV Test from the comfort of their home.

This data includes expected and unexpected shifts as we’ve struggled to maintain stability in At-Home HIV Test Kit supply. Some changes reflect intentional program pivots, while others were driven by external factors. Here’s a bit of context:

  • During the COVID pandemic (Feb 2020 – Mar 2021), in-person HIV testing paused, and RipplePHX expanded At-Home HIV Test Kit distribution through innovative virtual programs like Loteria, RippleBriefs, Booty Bags, and the 12 Gays of Christmas. As community-based testing resumed, At-Home distribution naturally declined as we re-prioritized In-Person HIV Testing.
  • Between June 2022 and June 2023, a one-year CDC Foundation grant supported the boost of 1,400 additional At-Home HIV Test Kits driving our total testing outcomes higher.
  • RipplePHX continued At-Home HIV Test Kit distribution through 2024 using limited in-kind support from an ADHS-funded state program. That program was abruptly halted for all agencies statewide in December 2024, leaving us without a funding source to obtain At-Home Test kits in 2025.
  • In January 2026, RipplePHX reinvested 340B revenue to purchase an initial supply of newly approved At-Home HIV Test Kits and will begin distribution in February 2026.

TOTAL HIV TESTING

Last Update: January 2026

This chart shows the TOTAL number of people who received a form of HIV Testing: combining both In-Person HIV Testing and At-Home HIV Test Kit Distribution.

Some context for data blips:

  • 2022 and 2023 growth spikes include growth of our In-Person HIV Testing Program by stabilizing our monthly calendar of events and the boost of 1,400 additional At-Home HIV test kits from a 1-Year Grant with the CDC Foundation.
  • The reduction trends in 2024 and 2025 reflect the end of the additional 1-Year supply of At-Home HIV Test kits after 2023 (mentioned above) and the abrupt cut of the State-Funded At-Home HIV Test kits in Dec 2024 to all state HIV organizations.
