These products aren’t random. They’re the same high-quality items we’ve designed and produced over the years at RipplePHX for outreach. Now we’re putting them out there to help fund our mission in a new way.
Why RipplePrints Matters
RipplePrints is about bringing bold designs to our community while building a safety net for our HIV programs.
Right now, RipplePHX’s HIV programs are funded through government sources that are increasingly at risk:
- HIV Tests & PrEP Navigation – HRSA Subrecipient
- Outreach Events, Supplies & Prevention Materials – CDC Subrecipient
- Medical Case Management – Ryan White CARES Act Subrecipient
For now, those resources are still in place, and we’re proud to work with strong local partners who believe in the work we do.
But change has been coming fast – especially anything associated with the LGBTQ+ Community. A leaked HHS draft shows plans to merge CDC and HRSA HIV efforts by 2026 — a move that could destabilize HIV funding overnight. And we’ve already seen over 60 HIV research grants in the U.S. wiped out, undoing decades of progress.
RipplePrints is how we make sure our community doesn’t get left waiting.
Our goal is to build a $200,000 safety net — enough to keep free HIV testing, PrEP access, HIV care, and mobile services going strong for at least a full year, even if one of our funding sources gets cut. We’re not putting all our eggs in one basket though. This is just one effort to build an even greater safety net in case multiple federal funding sources are cut.

Transparency to our community is one of our core values. Here, we’ll update you on every dollar raised, what was used to cover costs and other expenses not covered by funding, and our progress towards building a $200,000 safety net for any unexpected cuts to RipplePHX’s HIV Service Funding.
If we have to use these funds for an emergency, we’ll add a usage category as well for you to see how the funds were used. You’re trusting us to put the money back into our work, and you deserve to see it in action.

A 3″ Fierce Cut Sticker order for 100 pieces has a total price of $115. The cost of materials is $20, reserving $95 (or 83%) of the total sale towards our goal.
AN EXPLANATION OF COSTS AND UNCOVERED EXPENSES
How much of your order goes back into the community? Here, we’ll break down the costs and expenses so you understand what percent of your purchase is going towards our goal and ultimately, building a safety net for services in our community.
Costs include the cost of supplies (vinyl, stickers, banners, ink, equipment, packaging, etc.) Orders are currently being produced by Co-Executive Directors Jeremy Bright and Jason Jones volunteering their time outside of their normal working hours so there are no personnel costs at start-up. This could change based on demand after start-up.
Uncovered Expenses are items that our current funding sources won’t pay. For example, Liability Insurance that we must have for our bus and locations we provide services are not “allowable expenses” with our current funding sources. So those costs will be split across multiple fundraising efforts, but only as necessary to maximize the total funds raised towards our goal.
According to the National Council of Nonprofits, “A healthy return for a fundraising activity is considered at least 50 – 65% net revenue after all direct and indirect expenses are accounted for.” RipplePHX always works to set the bar higher, and that’s why we’ve included a percent to “Powering The Cause” in the data above.
