We’ll keep creating focused, long-lasting ripples of awareness throughout the Community until each person has access to a cure.

First up, join us for our Beach Party Edition of Loteria at Thunderbird Lounge Thursday night from 8pm - 10pm! Play 4 exciting rounds of Loteria, win exciting prizes - including Season Passes to Hurricane Harbor, and enjoy food, drinks, local vendors and get Free HIV Services!! Totally FREE to play, No Cover, Drink Specials!

First up, Thursday! Our Beach Party is back at Loteria at Thunderbird Lounge!!! Join AB and Aaron for an exciting night of Loteria, prize, food, drinks and Free HIV Services!!! You can also win 2 SEASON PASSES for Hurricane Harbor!!!!

Then on Saturday, Devina Ross and Eva Angelica Stratton host a Totally 80's Grand Splash showcase at Charlie's to raise money for RipplePHX!!! Join us for a totally amazing Saturday afternoon show and help us keep the fight for HIV services alive in Phoenix!

And on Saturday evening, Josh and Paul will be cruisin' the halls of FLEX offering Free HIV Services from 7pm till Midnight!!! Get Tested, access to PrEP and access to HIV Treatment!

Happy 4th of July week, and we hope to see you out!!!

UPDATE: The CDC’s HIV Prevention funding freeze

UPDATE: The CDC’s HIV Prevention funding freeze has finally thawed. No explanation. No accountability. Just a quiet “resume operations”—like we were waiting for permission.

But the damage is still here:
~ Valleywise didn’t restore the $55K they pulled—too much “uncertainty.” (it hurts, but we honestly can't blame them).
~ Ryan White just announced new cuts starting August 1.
~ We’ve lost incredible staff across AZ HIV organizations we partner with.

Meanwhile, our team never stopped.
No canceled events. No cut services.
We kept testing till 3am. Answering texts at midnight. Connecting people to PrEP and HIV treatment.

And while we worked?

Gov. Katie Hobbs @govhobbs stayed silent. No calls. No emails. No interviews. Just rainbow flags, photo ops, and empty allyship. You hung a flag for Pride Month - we have TEN flags EVERY DAY - your actions are no better than Target's.

Meaghan Kramer—her Health Policy Advisor—finally called after media pressure from a @lookout_news article. She said we should’ve reminded her (more) to call back 👀, that she “cries about this shit every night,” and asked what she was supposed to do without raising taxes.

Cool. We didn’t get to cry - we had shit to do.

📣 Huge shoutout to Congressperson Yassamin Ansari’s @repyassansari office, the ONLY one who reached out with real effort. That mattered.

We’ve got 3½ more years of this mess and funding is still fragile. But we’re not stopping.

It's been hard to walk with our head high this past month, but last night, RipplePHX took home two amazing honors at the Phoenix Pride Community Spirit Awards: The BJ Bud Community Spirit Award and the first-ever Community Choice Award for Sip & Stroke Paint Night celebrating The Art of Pride. ❤️

We're beyond grateful to Phoenix Pride for celebrating the power of community - and to be nominated along with the boldest, fiercest, and most dedicated humans we know. Being recognized alongside folks we admire? Pretty freaking incredible.

Huge love to the RipplePHX Team: Allen, Josh, Paul, Miguel, and the whole RipplePHX family who breathe life into this work every day - especially those late nights, early mornings, and “WTF are we even doing?” moments. 😂 This BJ Bud Community Spirit Award is yours. Thank you for everything you give for our community!

And a special sparkly shoutout to our Sip & Stroke Team: Geo, Celeste, Grey, and Pyraddiction—your energy, creativity, and fabulousness brought this event to life in ways we never imagined. Congratulations on the win! YOU did this!

We also received a partnership grant check for our volunteer work at Rainbows Festival, and we’re putting that support right back into the community where it belongs. 🏳️‍🌈

This work is never easy - especially recently, but nights like these remind us that our community sees us, feels us, and has our backs. We can't tell you what this means to us. Congratulations to all the winners and to the incredible nominees!!
