Then on Saturday, Devina Ross and Eva Angelica Stratton host a Totally 80's Grand Splash showcase at Charlie's to raise money for RipplePHX!!! Join us for a totally amazing Saturday afternoon show and help us keep the fight for HIV services alive in Phoenix!

And on Saturday evening, Josh and Paul will be cruisin' the halls of FLEX offering Free HIV Services from 7pm till Midnight!!! Get Tested, access to PrEP and access to HIV Treatment!

Happy 4th of July week, and we hope to see you out!!!

UPDATE: The CDC’s HIV Prevention funding freeze

UPDATE: The CDC’s HIV Prevention funding freeze has finally thawed. No explanation. No accountability. Just a quiet “resume operations”—like we were waiting for permission.

But the damage is still here:
~ Valleywise didn’t restore the $55K they pulled—too much “uncertainty.” (it hurts, but we honestly can't blame them).
~ Ryan White just announced new cuts starting August 1.
~ We’ve lost incredible staff across AZ HIV organizations we partner with.

Meanwhile, our team never stopped.
No canceled events. No cut services.
We kept testing till 3am. Answering texts at midnight. Connecting people to PrEP and HIV treatment.

And while we worked?

Gov. Katie Hobbs @govhobbs stayed silent. No calls. No emails. No interviews. Just rainbow flags, photo ops, and empty allyship. You hung a flag for Pride Month - we have TEN flags EVERY DAY - your actions are no better than Target's.

Meaghan Kramer—her Health Policy Advisor—finally called after media pressure from a @lookout_news article. She said we should’ve reminded her (more) to call back 👀, that she “cries about this shit every night,” and asked what she was supposed to do without raising taxes.

Cool. We didn’t get to cry - we had shit to do.

📣 Huge shoutout to Congressperson Yassamin Ansari’s @repyassansari office, the ONLY one who reached out with real effort. That mattered.

We’ve got 3½ more years of this mess and funding is still fragile. But we’re not stopping.
